With Spring just a few weeks away, we’re counting down the days till we can shed those heavy jackets and transition to lighter layers. We highlight some of our favorite pieces for the Spring season including Everlane’s Modern Flannel Shirt and Slim Fit Jeans. EVERLANE
Everlane’s Modern Flannel Shirt is just what we’ve been hoping to find for the Spring season. It’ll keep us warm on those cool Spring days as it’s constructed from 5.8 oz brushed cotton. While the Modern Flannel Shirt is durable, it’s also really soft and comfortable. Giving us a break from our usual choice of solid navy, grey or white button-ups, we’re big on the dark green plaid pattern for next season.
We decided to pair the flannel with Everlane’s Slim Fit Jeans in dark indigo, the darker the better is usually our preference. The jeans complement the shirt with a fit that’s not too slim, but also tapers nicely. The jeans are made from premium 11 oz. Japanese denim with 2-way stretch so you can go about your day comfortably not feel too constricted. Wear them confidently as they will hold up and fade beautifully as you break them in.
WOLVERINE
Finishing off the Spring look is Wolverine’s Evans 1000 Mile Boot. The original 1000 Mile Boot received an update at the end of last year mixing premium full-grain leather and waxy suede using a two-tone design. It’s a unique style for a boot that really sets it apart from any other pair we’d reach for next season. If we were ever looking for something durable that also looks good, we have definitely found it.
With a rugged upper, the rest of the boot features a leather outsole with Vibram rubber forepart and heel for optimal traction. Goodyear Welt construction will allow us to resole the boots if the time ever comes as we plan to wear these for years to come. Finishing off the boots are flax waxed cotton laces to complete that tough look.
