Style Grid: Seaside Minimal With @JeffDePano

Our Style Grid series continues with guest contributor @JeffDePano’s Seaside Minimal outfit for these hot Summer months. Hit the beaches and coast for your Summer getaway in style with these understated pieces. Read up on his choices and tips for this season as you enjoy your time by the water.

Shockoe Atelier Navy Rain Coat – Shockoe’s homage to classic Mackintosh coats features a light-weight linen and cotton blended fabric from legendary Italian mill, Loro Piana. It’s been treated for water resistance, so in case your day by the sea turns into a soggy one, it’s got you covered.
Saint James for J.Crew Meridien II Tee – You can’t go wrong with a classic Saint James Breton stripe t-shirt. It’s one of those pieces that never really goes out of style. The company has been around since the late 1800s, after all, so they know a thing or two about longevity.

RRL Slim Fit Jeans – The slimness of these RRL jeans gives a nice contrast to the slightly oversized silhouette of the Saint James tee. The lower rise allows you to comfortably “half tuck” the front of the shirt, which I’m a fan of with oversized pieces.
adidas Stan Smith – Few can argue that when it comes to minimal sneakers, a pair of Stan Smiths is pretty hard to beat. These highly comfortable sneakers are so well-priced, that I couldn’t resist picking up two colorways. While the Fairway Green/White version is the original, I find that I get more use out of the Navy/White ones.
