New to Red Wing Heritage’s collection of boots is the Merchant, which was created as a tribute to Charles Beckman who worked as a merchant in Red Wing and founded the company in 1905. The boot is based on the traditional work boot from the 1920’s and is built on a Chemi Gum sole, something Red Wing has been using on their work boots since 1964, but is now being introduce to the Heritage line. This gives the Merchant, a clean, slim and lightweight feel. The Merchant is comes in two different two leather choices including Ebony Harness Leather seen here.
